Abandoned quarry at Tsampres, an area of archaeological significance, Rizokarpaso - Limited Edition

from €550.00

Taken in 2014, during what I think of as my early years, when I was obsessively building this archive and spending weeks at a time chasing light and texture around the island. While exploring Karpasia, we came across the Tsampres quarry. Elias, seen here, was studying the cuts in the stone when I saw the image. Taken with a Nikon 24mm tilt-shift, I wanted the lines to feel like a maze, broken only by the presence of a human.

Big: 90cm | Limited Editions of 20
Jumbo: 110cm | Limited Editions of 10

When ordering prints, please allow at least two weeks before dispatch. One of the main reasons is that I am personally present at the print house during production, as all prints are archival and require the highest level of care.
