I was commissioned by the Ministry of Finance, alongside my long-time collaborator Kostas Drakos (who is leading the video work), to document Thalia, Cyprus’s long-term national strategy. Thalia looks beyond short-term politics, setting out a vision for Cyprus’s future and how to get there, through reforms, sustainable development, and future-proofing our economy, society, and environment. It’s a framework designed to build resilience and create a better tomorrow for everyone. I’m proud to be part of this. While we often focus on government mistakes, which is important to drive change. Yet it’s just as important to acknowledge real achievements. For me, it’s a privilege to create images that highlight the positive steps already being taken and the vision of the future we’re working toward.
